As part of our commitment to our clients, we aim not only to offer great products at a great price, but to also offer our clients a greater range of products to choose from and as such, TAS Kits offer both timber and steel frames, or a combination of the two if you prefer.

The timber frames we use are made from plantation pine and as such are a renewable resource, helping you to reduce our carbon footprint– the frames are MGP10 grade for superior strength and they come prefabricated for ease of construction which will save you valuable time and effort during your build.
Steel Frame Solutions supply the steel frames we use and they are manufactured from light gauge, high tensile TRUECORE steel from BlueScope Steel and has a 50 year warranty – it is made in Australia for Australian conditions. Steel frames are light weight and offer many benefits for the owner builder. See our benefits page for more details.
As with our frames, TAS Kits provides quality materials for your external cladding. You can choose from our large range of claddings including bricks and an extensive range of weatherboard designs and textures plus a whole host of other claddings with a variety of different shapes and colours which is sure to please.
Our windows are fully customisable and come in a range of finishes and colours to suit your home. You can choose from single or double glazing and even have the choice of aluminium, pvc or wooden frames.
The window colours are complimented by the Colorbond range of roofing, guttering and flashings and you can choose from a wide range of colours and profiles including the traditional corrugated form thru to the latest square and fluted designs.

All doors, jambs and associated hardware are of the highest quality and come in a great range of designs to suit your requirements.

Our TAS Kits site which has been set up to offer greater choices to the owner builders in Tasmania is still under construction.
All efforts have been made to accurately describe not only the intentions of our kit home company, but also the quality services that our kit home company offers.
We have listed the variety and quality of the materials we choose to supply the owner builders when they purchase one of our kithomes and have done so with the best of intentions, we may from time to time update the materials we use and will do so without prior notice if we feel it is in the best interest of our clients here in Tasmania.
TAS Kits inclusions page lists the standard inclusions the owner builder can expect to receive when purchasing one of our kits and we have tried to describe this list to the best of our ability.
