We realise that building can be a costly exercise and as such we offer our services to help you to design the home of your dreams and offer you flexibility when purchasing your kit – and all this at an unbelievably low cost, so why not ask us for a budget estimate.
Please keep in mind that in order to offer you the lowest possible kit price, we individually price each kit rather than work on a square metre rate like many of the bigger kit home companies do—in doing this we can get you a cheaper price but you will need to remember to allow about three to four weeks for your personalised design to be priced.
We can work with you to design your dream home to suit not only your dreams and desires, but also to take into account your block, your views and your needs. Our parent company, TAS Building & Management Solutions can also offer their services to get you from the drafting stage right thru to council approvals for a nominal fee plus reimbursement for all third party costs like drafting, engineering, council fees etc or we can give you a check list so you can do it all yourself and save money.
TAS Building & Management Solutions can also recommend a range of tradesman including excavator drivers, concreters, bricklayers, carpenters, roofers, plumbers, gas plumbers, electricians, cabinet makers, water proofers, carpet layers, painters and tilers - not to mention draftsmen, engineers, site surveyors, building surveyors and development offices to ensure your plans get through council in as little time as possible and if you choose to do this process yourself, remember we will also give you a schedule to follow to make it easier for you.
When it comes time to purchase the kit, unlike most other kit companies in Tasmania, here at TAS Kits we do not require 100% of the kit price upfront or even 50% deposit and the balance on delivery of the first stage—talk to us and find out just how affordable a kit is with us.
You can purchase as much or as little of the kit as you want – you may have friends or relatives who can supply certain components, or may wish to use supplies you already have on hand or items that you find along the way at bargain basement prices – no problem, here at TAS Kits you can build your own inclusions list and all you pay for is the components you actually want and you only pay for them as you need them. This will save you thousands in interest payments as there is no need for you to draw on your mortgage unnecessarily - you just pay for what you want, when you want it - with no hidden costs.

Our TAS Kits site which has been set up to offer greater choices to the owner builders in Tasmania is still under construction. All efforts have been made to accurately describe not only the intentions of our kit home company, but also the quality services that our kit home company offers. We have listed the variety and quality of the materials we choose to supply the owner builders when they purchase one of our kithomes and have done so with the best of intentions, we may from time to time update the materials we use and will do so without prior notice if we feel it is in the best interest of our clients here in Tasmania. TAS Kits inclusions page lists the standard inclusions the owner builder can expect to receive when purchasing one of our kits and we have tried to describe this list to the best of our ability. We do reserve the right to alter any information at any time as our aim is to keep this information as up-to-date and accurate as possible.
