About Us

We are fully qualified tradesmen.

We have been in the building industry for years.

We are members of the HIA.

Although TAS Kits is a relatively new business, we are not new to the industry – the founding members of our company include a registered builder who is a member of the HIA, an electrical contractor and a development officer with combined total of more than 45 years in the domestic housing and commercial industry (with ongoing training to keep us up to date with industry products and standards).

Each of us has also had first hand experience in the area of supplying and erecting kits whilst working with other companies in the local area and during that time we have discovered first hand what to do and even more importantly, what not to do – and with this in mind you can be assured that we have the expertise and know how to make your dealings with us memorable - for the right reasons…

We demand a high standard of work from ourselves in all the work we undertake and we demand the same of our sub-contractors. To enable us, to assist you with any stage of your build, we have a full range of qualified tradesmen on our books including excavator drivers, concreters, bricklayers, carpenters, roofers, plumbers, gas plumbers, electricians, cabinet makers, water proofers, carpet layers, painters and tilers - not to mention draftsmen, engineers, site surveyors, building surveyors and a development officer to ensure your plans get through council in as little time as possible.

With fully accredited trades people, and full members of the Housing Industry Association (HIA), TAS Kits is ready to take up your housing challenge.

We believe that communication is very important throughout the entire process and we encourage our clients to discuss any queries or problems they may have, as they arise. We also like to keep our clients informed on the progress of their project and provide updates at regular intervals.

Our TAS Kits site which has been set up to offer greater choices to the owner builders in Tasmania is still under construction.

All efforts have been made to accurately describe not only the intentions of our kit home company, but also the quality services that our kit home company offers.

We have listed the variety and quality of the materials we choose to supply the owner builders when they purchase one of our kithomes and have done so with the best of intentions, we may from time to time update the materials we use and will do so without prior notice if we feel it is in the best interest of our clients here in Tasmania.

TAS Kits inclusions page lists the standard inclusions the owner builder can expect to receive when purchasing one of our kits and we have tried to describe this list to the best of our ability.
